What would have happened if the USSR and the USA hadn't stopped the Cold War? Would anyone in the world have survived if a nuclear standoff had broken out? And, finally, would there have been any winners in this war? You'll find out the answers to these questions in DefconOr rather, answer them yourself.

The game's plot, as you might have guessed, is based on the Cold War between America and the Soviet Union. These two powerful nations will seek to exterminate each other and each other's allies. A wide variety of weapons are used, and, most terrifyingly, they are aimed at living resources. The player must choose a side and defend themselves and their allies by destroying as many of the enemy's resources as possible. No one will emerge victorious in this war, but your goal is to lose as little of your own population as possible while exterminating as many of the enemy's as possible.

• game situations are intertwined with real historical events;


• You will become a participant in a merciless and apocalyptic war, and influence who will emerge victorious;


• the main task is to lose as little of one’s own living resources as possible, but to destroy the enemy’s resources;


• You will be playing on the world map: the countries of the world will either be your allies or your enemy's allies.

In fact, the game's plot seems somewhat cynical. The player will be immersed in an unusual situation: they won't be fighting for honor, justice, or freedom, but will be exterminating their enemies with only one goal: to emerge victorious in the war as the strongest.
