A Japanese-style toy that, at first glance, looks like a new, improved version of Pokemon. Cassette Beasts – This retro game, with bright, colorful pixel art, tells the story of unusual creatures, both cute and not so cute, who all live together on the fairytale island of NewVirall. By chance, you find yourself there too, and your task is to survive, explore the island, and build a defense. You can do this using cassette tapes and players. The more you collect, the faster you transform into a monster with superpowers. And what's more, monsters can also team up with each other to become super-mega monsters, or they can form a pact to fight together against virtual enemies. The combinations are countless: by combining one with another, you have no idea what abilities the new monster will possess. In total, the creators developed 14400 possible scenarios.

You'll also have to use your superpowers to destroy obstacles and solve virtual puzzles. You can also create a permanent partner in the game. This is available for both single and multiplayer.

Developed by Bytten Studios and created by developers who previously worked on games like Starbound and Stardew Valley, the game was officially released on Nintendo Switch and PC.
