After the Fall

After the Fall – a co-op VR shooter from Vertigo Games, the creators of Arizona Sunshine, was released on December 9, 2021. It's impossible to play without a VR headset: you need a VR headset with SteamVR support. The action takes place in an alternate-era Los Angeles of the 1980s, gripped by a bitter cold after a catastrophe.

Frozen Los Angeles

The city lies in ruins and covered in snow. Creatures driven mad by the cold roam the streets: common infected, mutants, special enemies, and large bosses. Players from all over the world band together to survive this city and reclaim it, scavenging resources along the way. The story is sparse, focusing primarily on raids and gunplay. There's plenty of violence, including dismemberment, so the game is intended for adults.

Arms in hand

Everything is done with gestures, just like in real life: weapons are reloaded manually, not by pressing a button. The arsenal is extensive, and weapons can be upgraded to suit your fighting style. Beyond weapons, there are abilities that can also be unlocked and upgraded. Resources collected in raids are used to fund these upgrades, so each successful raid makes the squad stronger.

Four-player raids and PvP

You can play through the missions solo, but the game is designed for teams of up to four online. Cross-platform play is available, allowing players from other VR platforms to join your team. For the competitive types, there's a 4v4 mode where teams battle each other. The Extended Edition adds a separate mission, "Boulevard," a PvP arena, "Stockpile," new modes, and weapons. Installation:
