Changes:Updated to version 1.6.24 (76787).[Changelog]
Ash of Gods Redemption – a turn-based role-playing game with tactical combat and maps from the Russian studio AurumDust, released on March 23, 2018. Its presentation is reminiscent of The Banner Saga: a hand-drawn world, a journey across a map, and a plot in which your decisions can cost the heroes their lives.
Three Heroes and the Reapers
The Reapers have returned to the world. Thought a legend, they now seek to drench the land with blood to awaken the sleeping gods. The story follows three characters in parallel: Captain Thorn Brenin, bodyguard Lo Feng, and scribe Hopper Rowley, with companions gathering around them. The plot is nonlinear and is influenced by choices, including those made in combat. If a character dies, the game doesn't end: the story continues without them, and their past decisions and death influence what happens next. Even the death of their leader doesn't stop the squad's journey.
Combat without dice rolls
Battles are turn-based and completely random: hits and damage are not determined by dice rolls. Initial tactics are based on the skills and classes of your fighters, and then cards with powerful spells are revealed that can turn the tide of battle. The computer adapts to your playstyle, so a single winning strategy won't work for the entire game. Many decisions involve risk: you can sacrifice a fighter's health for a powerful strike, enter battle with a smaller team to quickly access powerful cards, or choose a short but dangerous route to conserve supplies.
Online battles and voice acting
In addition to the campaign, there are PvP battles with leaderboards where you can unlock new characters, upgrades, and maps for your strategy. The game's music was composed by Adam Skorupa, known for his work on The Witcher series, and his colleagues Krzysztof Wierzynkiewicz and Michal Cielecki.
