BURIED BELOW is an atmospheric first-person survival horror game in which the past returns through an old videotape, forcing you to relive the disappearance of a loved one. When a violent storm erupts during a hike, your girlfriend disappears near an abandoned mine, and a recurring memory haunts you. After some time, you decide to return to the scene and unravel the mystery yourself. Abandoned mine

After an interactive prologue, you'll venture into a vast forest, where you can roam freely and independently search for a path to the disappearance site. A map helps you navigate the trees and unfamiliar terrain, as it's easy to lose your way without it. The merchant previously shared important information about an abandoned mine, so it becomes the main landmark for your investigation. However, simply reaching the entrance won't be an option: the path is blocked by various obstacles, requiring careful study of the surroundings to overcome them.

Progress is based on finding the right items and using them correctly. Some obstacles require interaction with surrounding objects, so solving puzzles depends not only on finding the right items but also on spotting the right opportunity in space. The deeper you progress, the further you depart from the familiar world, and the more you feel connected to that very memory. You must explore the forest, find a way into the mine, and discover what really happened that night.
