Olga - Episode 1 – the first episode of Workbench Entertainment's mystical walking simulator, released on September 9, 2026. Set in a Slavic mountain village, the creators describe the setting as eerie and cozy: a warm grandparents' house where something is clearly amiss.
Several months in Belovoditsa
You experience Olga's childhood memories. Her parents are presented with a rare career opportunity, so they go abroad for a few months, sending their daughter to live with her grandparents in Belovoditsa. It's a remote mountain village with no cell phone coverage, making it difficult to contact her parents by phone. Olga was hoping for quiet, peaceful months, but the old house holds dark secrets, and they begin to unravel in the very first episode.
Without fighting and haste
The game is linear and unhurried. There are no combats at all, interactions are simple: approach, examine, pick up. The playthrough is short; this is the first chapter in a series, and subsequent episodes will continue the story. The game's strength lies in the atmosphere: the village architecture and everyday life are inspired by Slavic traditions, and many of these interiors will be recognizable to Russian-speaking players. The first-person perspective is stylized and cinematic.
How is it different from Elea?
The website offers Elea Episode 1, also the first chapter of an episodic first-person game, but this one is set in space sci-fi. Olga goes in a different direction: mountains, a village, family secrets, and no technology. Steam reviews are almost entirely positive.
