Demon Lands

The journey is structured around side levels, where precision and timing are especially crucial. Okko can launch enemies into the air, stomp them, reflect attacks, bounce off opponents, and chain various moves into long, devastating sequences. Defeating enormous bosses will require quick assessment of the situation and finding the right moment to attack. A special mode allows you to spend heart energy to more precisely time your attacks, deal additional damage, and break down enemy defenses. As you progress, the hero unlocks new abilities, becoming increasingly dangerous in combat.

An equally important part of the journey is the Old Throne — a place where Okko can rest, interact with unusual residents, buy useful items, and recuperate after yet another battle. Some characters can provide valuable information on the journey ahead, and the refuge itself hides its own secrets. During exploration, you can collect Devolls, which unlock additional challenges in the underground levels. All this transforms the journey through Kutala into more than just a series of battles, but a full-fledged exploration of the world, where familiar places may conceal new opportunities.
