Legacy of Kain: Ascendance

Legacy of Kain: Ascendance is a 2D action platformer that brings back Nosgoth in a dark pixel art interpretation with animated cutscenes and tense vertical movement. A world of ruined kingdoms and fractured timelines becomes an arena for a clash of fate and curse. The story intertwines past and future, allowing you to relive the tragedy of vampires and their enemies.

Blood, height and speed

Combat is built around a combination of melee attacks, dashes, and otherworldly abilities, requiring precision and reflexes. Platforming sections transition seamlessly into combat, forcing players to utilize vertical space and constantly reposition themselves. Levels are filled with challenges and traps that are unforgiving of inattention.

The player controls several heroes, uncovering different sides of the conflict. Kain acts with cold-blooded vampiric strength, Raziel evolves from a servant of the order to a being transformed by a curse, and Elaleth enters the fray with aggressive determination. Celldweller's musical score enhances the atmosphere, and the return of the original voice actors adds depth to the familiar characters.
