Ember and Blade – an action-RPG roguelike from the Korean LINE Games Corporation. It combines Vampire Survivors-style battles against endless hordes with challenging boss fights and a dark story about a demon hunter. A Steam release date has not yet been announced, but a demo is available.
Immortality by contract
The protagonist hunts demons and has gained temporary immortality through a pact with angels. The archdemon Asmodeus has been imprisoned for centuries, and the only one who bears his seal is Ariella. Her plight becomes tragic, and the guardian's fate becomes closely intertwined with the hero's journey. All that remains is to fight his way through the demons and discover whether it is possible to argue with fate.
Streams of Demons and Fallen Mortals
Most of the game's time is spent fighting hordes. Demons are constantly coming, and with each new attack, the chaos only grows. The game is isometric, and Steam tags describe it as a slasher, musou, and bullet hell all at once. The bosses are designed differently: they are former humans who sold their souls for demonic power. Their attacks are devastating, and victory requires precise timing, well-thought-out tactics, and clever use of that temporary immortality.
Death as part of the journey
Death isn't the end here, but the beginning of the next attempt, and each rebirth reveals new plot secrets. Angels bestow heavenly gifts upon the hero, unlocking new abilities, so each run can be tailored to your own unique style. The world is shaped by divine flame and warped by demonic corruption, hence the vibrant colors and hand-drawn style. Ember and Blade You can download it via torrent to your PC on this page.
