Ritual Tides

Ritual Tides is an atmospheric horror story about a man stranded on an isolated island with no memory of his own identity. A strange parish exists here, speaking of salvation and worshipping Mother Hortus, and creatures whose origins are far from obvious lurk among the misty landscapes. Exploration becomes a means of recovering lost memories and understanding the nature of the place, but each answer uncovered only brings one closer to an even more disturbing mystery. The price of the error

The island leaves you feeling unsafe even when there are no enemies nearby. Movement requires careful consideration: climbs depend on proper hand placement, narrow surfaces force you to maintain balance, and any pursuit significantly complicates your usual route. Weapons help fend off threats, but limited ammo prevents you from solving every problem with force. Therefore, you have to choose when to engage in combat and when it's best to retreat, hide, or find another route.

Particular attention was paid to the very appearance of Hortus. Detailed photogrammetric data, shot in various areas of England and Scotland, was used to create the environment. Rocks, trees, moss, soil, and vegetation are reproduced with a wealth of fine detail, making the island appear natural and believable. Against this realistic backdrop, traces of cult activity and strange creatures stand out particularly strongly, gradually transforming familiar natural settings into a source of constant uneasiness.
