Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Tactics is a turn-based tactical game where every operation becomes a carefully planned assault. As the new Rainbow Six commander, you'll assemble squads of renowned operators, scout the battlefield beforehand, and decide how to advance to your objective. Destructible walls, reconnaissance devices, and unique equipment allow you to transform a routine firefight into a well-planned operation.

Operation tactics

Four operatives in a squad aren't just a set of fighters, but a combination of different capabilities. One specialist can breach a fortification, another can detect a threat using a gadget, a third can cover the advance, and a fourth can finish the attack. Before the encounter, you can study enemy positions and plan a sequence of actions so that several soldiers can simultaneously enter the room, giving the enemy no time to respond.

Missions take place in a variety of locations around the world: city buildings, airports, warehouses, and remote oil platforms. Objectives are constantly changing, too, from rescuing hostages to defusing explosives and eliminating high-value targets. Destructible environments add another layer of tactics: a wall can be transformed into a new passage, destroy enemy cover, or create an unexpected attack position.
