Mandate Order — is a simulator of building and managing an ancient military fortress in China during the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods. Create your own city without grid restrictions, develop agriculture, mining, and production, appoint advisors, and prepare your army for inevitable conflicts. Here, state development is closely linked to military might: every resource, building, and political decision can determine whether your fortress will survive the next war.
Build a fortress and determine the path of the state
Freely plan your city, placing residential areas, fields, workshops, warehouses, and barracks where they will be most useful. The production chain is dependent on the changing seasons: spring brings sowing, summer requires harvesting, autumn is the time for harvesting, and winter requires the use of accumulated reserves. Weather and the annual cycle influence the economy, supplies, and military preparation, so settlement development requires long-term planning.
Advisors become an important part of statecraft and allow you to draw on the ideas of various philosophical schools of ancient China. Recruit representatives of Confucianism, Taoism, Mohism, Legalism, the military, and agrarian schools, appoint them to appropriate positions, and consider their influence when making decisions. Diplomacy can also change the state's standing: forge alliances, negotiate truces, develop trade, or ally with neighbors against a more dangerous enemy.
Features of the game
Free construction of an ancient fortress city without a grid.
Seasonal farming, production and inventory management.
Advisors from various philosophical schools of Ancient China.
Tactical battles and multi-level fortress defense.
