Nature of Dread – a first-person survival horror game from the team Nature of Dread Team. The action takes place in a secret settlement in the northern forests, where people have been holding back an ancient evil for centuries. A Steam release date has not yet been announced.

The Unclean Settlement

A settlement called the Unclean was created as the last stand in a war that has lasted for thousands of years. They attempted to contain an ancient evil, isolate it, and study it. Then the military arrived with their experiments, sealed the borders, and the truth of what was happening within became a secret. The hero finds himself at the very center of this conflict, and he must decide what he is willing to do for what is dear to him. Each location and each character has its own backstory, and the plot is reminiscent of mystical literature, retold in a modern way.

Enemies who learn

The creatures of primal evil hunt consciously. They remember your actions, adapt, team up, and change tactics in response to your habits. If the same trick works twice, don't count on it working a third time. The developers compare the strongest of these creatures to the Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

Sawed-off shotgun, pistol and knife

Weapons differ in more than just damage. A homemade sawed-off shotgun and a precision army pistol behave very differently, and in close combat, a knife can get stuck in bone or slip out of your hand at the most inconvenient moment. Ammo and equipment are limited, so choosing what to carry and how to spend resources is crucial. The game is brutal, with realistic blood and dismemberment, and is intended for adults.
