Expeditions: Samurai is a historical role-playing game set in early 17th-century Japan, engulfed in civil wars and power struggles. Taking command of the Dutch ship "Albatross," you arrive on the shores of a distant land and find yourself embroiled in events that could change its future. Here, you'll not only have to fight but also navigate politics, forge alliances, and make decisions whose consequences will be felt for a long time.

Honor, intrigue and the path to glory

The journey takes place among influential daimyo, samurai, and those who shape Japan's destiny. The player shapes their character and chooses how to achieve their goals. Some tasks can be resolved through diplomacy, while others require cunning or direct confrontation. Many events have multiple outcomes, and the attitude of those around them directly depends on your actions.

The protagonist embarks on a voyage with a crew of sailors, each with their own views, secrets, and life stories. Gradually, you can earn their trust, learn more about their past, and influence the development of relationships within the crew. Some connections develop into strong friendships, while others can lead to serious conflicts.
