Nova Swarm is an arcade space shooter about short sprints, where the score counter constantly nudges you to press the "Repeat" button. You choose a ship, fly into the first sector, and try to push as far as possible through dense enemy formations. At first, everything seems quite manageable, but after a few minutes, the screen turns into a veritable chaos of lasers, mines, and enemy squadrons. It's in these moments that the most beautiful rescues and the most heartbreaking defeats occur.
It's not luck that wins here
Every danger has its own rules. One enemy blocks your path, another forces you to change position abruptly, a third tries to push you right into the line of fire. After a few attempts, you begin to notice patterns, see open windows between bursts, and anticipate what's about to happen. A good result comes not from a random bonus, but because your hands start working faster than your head.
The hangar gradually fills with new ships, and each one feels different. Some allow you to act calmly and confidently, while others require constant risk and aggression. Sometimes a vehicle seems awkward and strange, but after a couple of runs, it suddenly becomes a favorite. This makes returning to familiar sectors interesting even after dozens of attempts.
