Korea. IL-2 Series — is a large-scale combat aviation simulator dedicated to the moment when the old rules of the skies began to crumble under the roar of jet engines. Aircraft from a bygone era still soar over Korea, but they are now facing new-generation fighters. Speed is increasing, decision time is shorter, and every maneuver requires far more precise calculation than before.
From pilot to regiment commander
Combat action unfolds on the largest map in the series' history, created using historical documents and maps from the 1950s. Coastlines, mountainous areas, reclaimed straits, airbases, ports, and railway junctions become part of a living theater of war. Here, you can personally take to the skies, engage in combat, attack ground targets, and return to base with damage that directly affects your aircraft's performance.
A detailed damage model applies to more than just aircraft. Ground vehicles, trains, ships, and strategic bombers react to hits, collisions, and crashes based on their mass, speed, and impact location. Career mode adds another level of responsibility: you need to maintain your units, strengthen your regiment, and decide when to take the cockpit yourself and when it's more important to stay behind the operations map.
