Next Patient This isn't about heroically saving the world. It all starts with a simple desire to get out of your stepfather's house and hold on to your first normal job. But instead of a secure position, you're thrust into a checkpoint in a country that's bursting at the seams. Beyond the walls of the safe zone, there are protests, panic, and the Morven pandemic. And every day, a line of people stands in front of you, on whom much more depends than you initially imagine.
The hardest decisions look like paperwork.
Check documents. Deny entry. Let them in. On paper, it's all simple. In reality, almost everyone has a story behind them: some lie for their family, some try to buy their way in, some fear returning home more than their illness itself. The game constantly presses on with this feeling — you're sitting at a table shuffling papers, but these actions are ruining lives.
The further the pandemic progresses, the dirtier the system itself becomes. Management demands convenient solutions, bureaucrats push their people to jump the queue, the radio says one thing, while the people at the window tell a completely different story. Gradually, you begin to understand that it's not just the virus that's dangerous here. Sometimes, one wrong choice can lead to arrest, disappearance, or something much worse.
