The Dunkers

The Dunkers — is a fast-paced 2D basketball arcade game inspired by old street sims, where the thrill lies in simple controls and constant one-on-one combat. There are no complex team-wide tactics here — it's just you, your opponent, and trying to get the ball before them, to pull off a beautiful dunk or catch their shot with a hard block.

Every movement has to be done by yourself

The games are designed to be as hands-on as possible. Players have complete control over their pre-shot steps, their approach to the hoop, and the moment of attack, so even a simple drive feels natural. Because of this, victory depends not only on reaction time but also on how well you sense the opponent's distance and movement during short street games.

The different playstyles of these players greatly influence the pace of the game. One relies on long shots, another smothers the defense, and a third tries to pressure the opponent with aggression under the basket. With two players on the same keyboard, it all turns into a very loud and fast-paced brawl, where the situation can be turned around with one well-placed steal or a well-placed dunk.

Installation:
