Rogue Reigns — is a roguelike deckbuilder with party management, where combat revolves around four characters and their overlapping decks. Cards aren't permanently assigned to any one character; they're transferred, buffing some and weakening others. Every action changes the structure of combat, forcing you to consider not only your strength but also the consequences for your entire team.
Balance instead of strength
Decks intertwine so that one character sets up an effect and another completes it, creating chains of actions. But resources are always in short supply, and a choice must be made between who gets ahead. Strengthening one weakens the other, and this instability becomes part of the strategy. If this imbalance is ignored, the group quickly falls apart.
You can't move freely across the map: the threat constantly shrinks your room for maneuver. A route error or an unnecessary fight can lead to a situation where time is running out. This pressure forces you to act faster than you'd like and work with what you have, without trying to assemble the perfect combination.
