Stonemachia

Stonemachia is a dark adventure with a transformation-based combat system, where you play as a pawn capable of changing form and fighting style. The world has been ravaged by a strange Angelic Plague, and instead of familiar enemies, you encounter animated statues and distorted images, as if straight from the canvases of old masters. Everything around you appears like frozen art that suddenly begins to move.

Form determines the fight

Transformations aren't just a visual effect; they're fundamental to survival. One form provides protection, another mobility or strength, and switching between them becomes part of the tactical equation. Enemies require different approaches, forcing you to adapt to the situation rather than rely on a single style. A mistake in choice can be costly, as space doesn't offer many opportunities for correction.

The journey takes you through disjointed lands filled with symbolism and strange structures. It's not just your reaction to combat that matters, but also understanding where to go next and how to interact with your surroundings. Gradually, a picture of what's happening emerges, but no direct answers are given — they have to be gleaned from the details.
