Village Merchant — is an economic trading simulator where the player manages a medieval shop and develops a business from scratch. The core process revolves around buying, selling, and producing goods, working with customers, and managing inventory. Every decision impacts profits, product range, and future expansion opportunities.

Trade control

Working in a shop requires attention to detail: setting prices, monitoring demand, and serving customers quickly. Different customers come with specific requests, so it's important to properly allocate resources and balance product quality with order fulfillment speed to avoid losing profits.

Over time, new product categories and ways to earn money are unlocked. Players can expand their product range, improve processes, and reach new levels of sales. Customer traffic gradually increases, demands escalate, and they must adapt to maintain a stable income and further develop their store.

Features of the game

  • Mini-games for processing weapons and equipment.

  • Trade routes with access to rare resources.

  • Different types of clients with unique requests.

  • Flexible management of product placement.

There are virtually no settings (run, grab, crouch...). There's no mouse sensitivity either, so you have to fine-tune your turns with the movement keys. The game freezes even with shadows completely disabled and graphics settings set to medium. How can you even play this?

MORDORR, are you playing on a smartwatch or something? :rolling_on_the_floor_laughing:
FPS doesn't drop below 90, very rarely freezes for a split second.
And in the game settings there is a setting for the sensitivity of the "gaze"

Greshnic07Did I even say a word about freezes, smart guy? It's heavy (is that better?), it's hard-boiled. I play on an 8GB card and good RAM. With the graphics card and everything else listed in the requirements, it should fly. Like a hawk. Fuck it! I don't give a damn about such a UE. And the runners are right there too.

I agree with @Greshnic07 and @MORDORR, but only on a few points. The FPS in the game doesn't drop, but the game's requirements aren't exactly reasonable. I have a fairly old computer and a 1050ti GPU, but that was enough for me to comfortably play RDR2. But here, I had to set the settings to medium and lower... terrible. As for the game itself, I downloaded it this morning, sent my wife and child to my mother-in-law's birthday party, and then sat down to write this review (which is until the evening), and I can basically say it's a rough game. It's playable, of course, but not more than 2-3 hours. There's nothing to do in the game after leveling up the perks and unlocking all the routes. I only played with the prices at the very beginning, but then I stopped caring about them. Honey and swords — that's the entire strategy. I sincerely wished for more mechanics, but they're missing (for now, I hope). After reaching level 28, orders have to be placed by double-clicking the left mouse button, but reaching level 18 is enough to unlock all routes (of which there are already few). The calendar (as a mechanic for predicting the "market") is weak, the weekly rent is low, there's no NPC loyalty system to the store, and there's no point in increasing the store's size; everything you've earned was earned on the initial territory. In short, the game is weak, but there's room for improvement (if the developer so desires, of course). More positives than negatives.

A very addictive game. I downloaded it in the evening and played until late at night. But there is one thing: after 30 game days, it becomes boring. Because everything is bought and there is nowhere to spend money.

Addictive means it doesn't let go for at least a week, not just two hours in the evening. He has an addictive game, ugh.
