Village Dealer Simulator – a rural reseller simulator from indie developer Leanforsa, released on April 9, 2024. You drive your truck through a small town, buying goods from farmers and ranchers, and trying to sell them for the highest price.

Bargaining at every gate

Prices here aren't set in stone. You have to negotiate with each vendor, and your final profit depends on how well you negotiate the price. Farmers offer different goods, so it's not always easy to immediately figure out what's best. Sometimes it's better to walk away from a deal and move on to the next vendor than to overpay and then sell for next to nothing. The game is played from a third-person perspective, and the town itself can be explored freely, including off-road.

The body is not rubber

The game's main limitation is the truck. Space in the back is limited, and each trip becomes a small puzzle: what items to pack together to fit everything and maximize profits. Expensive but bulky goods may prove less profitable than several smaller purchases. The route is also important, as vendors are scattered throughout the area, and an extra detour eats up time. The rural landscapes aren't just for show: where and how you travel determines who you'll be able to close a deal with.

Machine upgrade

Earned money can be invested in your truck. Upgrades allow you to transport more and carry a wider range of goods, resulting in higher earnings per trip.
