Ash & Rust is a dynamic, top-down RPG where the player explores a dark world and battles dangerous enemies. Its key feature is its flexible character development system, allowing you to combine abilities and items. This allows each hero to develop a unique strategy and combat style.

Combat and strategy

Combat relies on precise timing and control over character movement. Each attack has its own animation and requires precise timing. Players must dodge enemy strikes, block dangerous attacks, and seek counterattacks to effectively defeat even the most powerful opponents.

As you progress, new items are unlocked, enhancing your character and expanding your development options. Combinations of modifiers, weapons, and abilities create a variety of strategies. Thanks to the diverse systems, each new playthrough offers a different playstyle and new ways to defeat enemies.
