Rewind 99 — is a management simulator for the last video rental store in a city where the old days are slowly disappearing under the pressure of digital services. You inherit the store in dire straits: debts, expired tapes, and nearly empty shelves. While the massive streaming service RentNet is growing across the street, you have to fight for every customer and keep the business afloat.
Fight for old business
During the day, the work seems simple: ordering movies, stocking merchandise, and serving customers. However, over time, the store evolves into a complex system, requiring monitoring supplies, prices, and customer behavior. Gradually, the space can be expanded, new departments can be added, and the small rental shop can be transformed into a full-fledged entertainment center.
But regular trading isn't enough. To survive in a competitive environment, you have to search for additional sources of income throughout the city. Risky deals, odd jobs, and dubious ideas can bring in quick cash. Sometimes they save a business, sometimes they create even more problems, forcing you to constantly balance profit and danger.
