Mythic Yi is a turn-based RPG told in the language of retro pixel art, where myth ceases to be a fairy tale. The world has been scorched by ten suns, order is destroyed, and ancient legends no longer offer solace. You are Yi, a gunslinger and guide who must navigate the chaos of a primeval era and decide whether humanity deserves to be saved — and at what cost.
When a legend looks back
The journey leads through wastelands, forests, and divine realms, where familiar images are distorted. Stories passed down as truth for centuries unfold differently: conspiracies are hidden behind celestial phenomena, the gods' sacrifices take on human pain, and the heroes' actions prove not to be heroic deeds but attempts to right old wrongs. There is no canon here — only choices and their consequences.
Battles become an extension of this theme. The five elements, celestial phenomena, and the art of marksmanship intertwine, demanding calculation and understanding of the combat context. The companions you lead are not just fighters, but bearers of views and doubts. By slaying six ferocious beasts, you don't get closer to the end — you rewrite the very structure of the myth, step by step.
