Forest Escape: Last Train

Forest Escape: Last Train is a co-op exploration horror game for 1-4 players where you survive in a foggy forest using a train as your only safe haven. Gameplay revolves around a cycle of forays, resource gathering, and returning to the locomotive, which must be constantly maintained. Any mistake outside the train increases the risk of encounters with creatures and jeopardizes the entire team's progress.

The train as the center of the gameplay

The core mechanics focus on maintaining and protecting the locomotive. Players mine coal, search for parts, repair systems, and refuel the train to keep it moving. Each foray into the forest is timed and requires coordination, as delays increase the danger level and the likelihood of pursuit.

Progress is blocked by puzzles embedded in the surrounding world. To open paths, you must solve problems that reflect the Overseer's twisted logic. These puzzles require teamwork, role assignment, and sequential execution of steps, which unlock new areas and the next section of the route.
