Revelation of Decay – a pixelated zombie survival action game from the Chinese studio Wolfy Cat, published by XD. The full Steam release is scheduled for 2026, and a demo is already available. The developers themselves say their apocalypse is less grim than usual, and in some places even feels alive.
Superpowers among the ruins
A post-disaster world is filled with strange anomalies. The hero awakens supernatural powers within himself and uses them to confront endless hordes of zombies and mutants, all the while uncovering the origins of the invasion. The game features a top-down perspective, shooter-style combat, and a vast array of abilities: over two hundred items and over fifty abilities. Weapons are highly customizable, allowing you to assemble a diverse loadout for different combat styles. Bosses have their own mechanics, requiring a tailored approach to each.
Eight regions
The open world is divided into eight regions, each with its own dangers. There are zombie-infested cities, snowy plains, and secret military bases. Survival resources are collected as you explore, and the developers promise to add more regions over time. The visuals are rendered in rusty reds and oranges, as if an eternal twilight falls over the entire world.
Zombies in the factory and a pack of dogs
The most unusual part of the game is related to the base. Captured zombies can be put to work: initially, they toil in the fields manually, and later, when the base is electrified, they service the automated production. You can recruit survivors, former enemies, and even dogs to your squad, and you can take up to thirty companions into battle. Online co-op is available; playing with a friend doubles the number of companions. Revelation of Decay You can download it via torrent on your PC on this page.
