Monsters are Coming!

Monsters are Coming! – a roguelike about a city on wheels from Ludogram, published by Raw Fury, released on November 20, 2025. The city cannot remain static: it must constantly roll forward, otherwise it will be engulfed by Darkness, and monsters are attacking it from all sides along the way.

The city that moves

You decide which districts to build and where to place them, then upgrade them and fortify the gates. Defenses are placed on the walls: archer outposts, necromancer towers, and even fire-breathing dragons. The city relies on three resources: wood to fuel engines, stone to repair buildings, and gold to upgrades. You can turn off the main road for more loot, or continue south to the refuge, where the city is developed and new districts are purchased.

Hero at the walls

While the city moves, your hero takes to the field. You choose a class at the start: a swordsman or a spellcaster. The hero gains levels and new abilities, fights bosses, and navigates obstacles. Treasures and better rewards are hidden off the route, but wandering away for too long is dangerous: the city moves on without you. If the hero dies, they will respawn, and the game is lost only when the entire city is destroyed.

The Road to the Vault

The goal of the journey is to reach the Vault, the hope of all humanity. The closer you get to it, the stronger the monsters, and for every defeated boss, a more terrifying enemy may await. The developers have combined survival, strategy, tower defense, and action with leveling in a single game. It has a Metacritic score of 79, and 62 achievements on Steam. Download Monsters are Coming!
