Echoes of Dread

Echoes of Dread – a first-person psychological horror game from the small team at Reaper GS, in collaboration with Kazakov Studios, released on November 15, 2024. You wake up on a couch in someone else's dilapidated mansion, with no memory of how you got there.

The Missing Family

The very first discovery sets the tone for the entire story. The room contains an article about the mysterious disappearance of an entire family. Whether the protagonist himself is connected to it or just another victim unfortunate enough to be inside will be revealed as the game progresses. The answers will have to be sought within the mansion itself, room by room. There are several endings, and which one you reach depends on your decisions.

Light as a support

Surprisingly, the electricity in the house still works. Light is the only thing that calms the protagonist and allows him to see clearly, but the dark corridors immediately become unsettling. The game itself hints that relying on light bulbs isn't worth it. The mansion is full of difficult-to-explain sounds and paranormal phenomena, and something dangerous could very well be lurking around the next corner. A leisurely stroll through the house won't be an option; jump scares are also present.

Mansion Mysteries

To progress, you need to collect useful items and solve puzzles that open locked sections of the house. The name is similar to Echoes of Red, which is also available on the website, but that game is completely different: a top-down pixel shooter roguelike.
