I downloaded and tried playing it three times. I liked the concept, but the bugs were a real pain at first. I only got to play a little bit after the developers polished up their creation. The game mechanics are simple and straightforward — turn-based combat, all those weapon upgrades, and so on. But the location generation doesn't provide the player with a particularly fun experience, constantly navigating faceless, identical labyrinths. They all look the same. I thought it would be more fun in space, but space combat is some of the most tedious I've ever seen in a game. The implementation is very awkward.

When I see captions like "Millions of planets will open before you..." I immediately think of NoManSky, with its similar diversity, nicknamed "a quintillion of NOTHING." Will there be the same kind of shitty variety here? Incidentally, NoManSky will soon be around nine years old, and all the active content they've already churned out flies by in 150-180 hours.

Good old "game development." All these alpha-betas and pre-releases should have been banned on Steam and other "marketplaces" a long time ago, in my opinion. Because it's not uncommon for scams like Star Citizen to emerge. And delaying alpha-betas until release is quite common. Or they just abandon the game without a release.
I wonder if StoneShard will be able to release a new version in 10 years? laughing

foolWell, the game War of the Worlds, which is supposedly a new survival game, is going the same way. You could almost say it's collecting donations from people. So, some kind of scheme is already in place. And they're afraid to enter the marketplace in early development, so to speak.
