Bound By Flame

The French company Spiders started out with quests, but has recently specialized in the action/RPG genre. For example, Of Orcs and Men was released in 2012, Mars: War Logs in 2013, and Bound by Flame, a torrent, became available in 2014. The third project is arguably the best of all. It takes players to a fantasy world terrorized by demonic forces. The protagonist has fallen victim to their influence. The extent to which their soul will be darkened depends entirely on the player. The goal of the journey is to destroy Lord Blackfrost, who resides in a forbidding but well-defended castle. However, getting there requires a bit of work, and the journey stretches through lands teeming with the undead.

The hero of Bound by Flame is constantly drawn to the power offered to him by the demon. Each invocation of this power affects his appearance, and if he overdoes it, he can cease to be human. That's right — the game has multiple endings. The outcome also depends on your actions in various missions. It's worth noting that in addition to the main story missions, there are numerous side quests. If a new job comes up, it's best to complete it immediately, as it may not be available in the next chapter. However, everyone is free to choose, and that's what makes Bound by Flame and other similar RPGs (let's call them classics) so interesting.

There are no classes, but there are fighting styles. There are three of them: Warrior (powerful and slow), Ranger (fast and agile), and Pyromancer (magical).
Traveling in company is more fun and safer. Thousands of undead roam the lands of Bound by Flame, making it more difficult to survive alone. You can bring up to five companions.
