Changes:Updated to version Build 21628705.[Changelog]
Northend Tower Defense – a military tower defense game with real-time strategy elements from the small studio Northend Games. Early access opened in March 2022, and the full version was released on September 4, 2024. Instead of magical towers, it features soldiers, machine gun emplacements, vehicles, and airstrikes.
Defending a position
The objective at each level is the same: prevent waves of enemy forces from breaking through your lines. You deploy your troops yourself, choosing who to put in dangerous positions and who to keep in reserve. Squads differ in their roles, strengths, and weaknesses, and over time, more powerful troops and armored vehicles are unlocked. In addition to deployment, reinforcements, air strikes, and other special abilities come in handy during battle, helping out when the front begins to crumble. Maps vary: on the beach, towers support the defense, while in the desert, tanks and aircraft attack.
Improvements between battles
Developing your army can take a long time. The game features over twenty unit types and 77 upgrades, as well as four passive skills and five active special abilities. Upgrades increase attack power and unlock new capabilities for units, so you can eventually play the same map with a completely different composition. Battles take place in real time, so formations alone aren't enough: you have to constantly monitor the battlefield.
zombie mode
The dedicated zombie mode is designed differently from regular battles. You're faced with hordes of the undead, and you can defend yourself with traps and airdrops. This mode features its own custom upgrades — more than twelve of them, each with four levels, including electric discharges and explosions. The game isn't demanding and will run on older computers, so it's a good choice. Northend Tower Defense You can download it via torrent even on a weak PC.
