Ryans Rescue Squad

Ryans Rescue Squad – a 2D children's platformer based on the Ryan Show, developed by Stage Clear Studios and published by Outright Games on March 4, 2022. Ryan's friends have been kidnapped by villains, and you must rescue them across four themed worlds, either solo or with a friend on the same screen.

Four worlds and four salvations

The Dark Titan, Robo-Combo, and Rat-Man are behind the kidnapping. The worlds are divided into themes: toys, pirates, aliens, and dinosaurs. Each world contains one of Ryan's friends, and after freeing them, the hero gains new abilities. Levels are full of slime, jumps, and acrobatics, and bosses await at the end, some of which attack in spaceships. The friends' abilities also come in handy: Jill's barrels, Moe's ship, and riding a giant Sheldon. Eating Moe's pizza makes the character invulnerable.

Coins, eggs and hats

Scattered throughout the levels are Sunny Coins and surprise eggs. These can be used to unlock character items at the local store, including alien hats, gaming accessories, and other decorations. You can play as not only Ryan, but also Combo Panda, Alpha Lexa, and Gus the little crocodile. Super moves are useful for defeating the bad guys.

Together on one screen

The game is designed so that a second player, a friend or an adult, can join in. Co-op mode works on a shared screen, and Remote Play Together allows online play. In addition to the main gameplay, there are minigames: "Sniper," "Spaceship Flight," "The Floor Is Lava," and "Rapid Fire."
