Time Recoil

Time Recoil is a time-bending shooter game. The protagonist's story begins in 1987. Under mysterious circumstances, a girl finds herself on the roof of a skyscraper, surrounded by strange futuristic technology.

After a short prologue, you're mysteriously returned to 1973. It turns out a researcher sacrificed himself to create a time paradox that transported the protagonist from prison to Paris. Or more accurately, to what used to be Paris, before a strange psychopath came here. To return everything to its rightful place, you'll have to complete several quests in the past.

This top-down game features quite interesting gameplay. The character moves freely and aims in any direction. After killing an enemy for the first time, the main difference from similar games is revealed: time slows down. With each subsequent enemy you defeat, you gain a moment of slow motion. As you accumulate combos, you gain even more time. The main goal is to plan your moves so that your opponents don't even realize where they were hit.
