Trion Worlds recently announced the launch of a new strategy role-playing game. Atlas ReactorAmong the main interesting and exciting features of this project was one: the user had to specify the source code, and the battle would then proceed without intervention. The developers revealed other, but not all, elements of the new game during an interview with the Western press.
Features of the project: The creators compared the project to the game XCOM, the main similarity being the ability to take simultaneous turns. - Although the game is positioned primarily as a strategy game, the lion's share of attention will still be devoted to the role-playing component (in fact, the developer studio itself has previously worked primarily on role-playing projects). "But you shouldn't expect it to be completely XCOM-like, nor should you use the same techniques. How does it work? For example, a tank sent into an attack can be destroyed before it even gets there, or a sniper on a roof can be shot down with a rocket, and so on." - The game is currently in alpha form, so there aren't many modes, but we're planning to add not only more modes, but also a map editor, good multiplayer, and much more.
So, all that's left to do is wait until you can download the torrent. Atlas Reactor, and this will be when the studio has finished preparing all the main and key points so that the project can be presented to users for the game, and then let them finalize it or release updates.
