GRIME — a side-scrolling arcade indie game with horror and RPG elements. The player must clear the planet of monsters and destroy the leader of the alien invaders.

Plot

The plot is minimal, with the game's emphasis on dynamic gameplay. The protagonist awakens amidst ruins. He doesn't know who he is, where he is, or what's going on. He knows only one thing: he must destroy the evil that has taken over this place. Along the way, he encounters mysterious objects and characters who will explain, step by step, the disaster that has befallen the planet, who is attacking it, and who must be destroyed.

Gameplay

The gameplay is typical of arcade games: complete levels, kill monsters, collect items, and level up your character. The game features a unique skill leveling system. New abilities can only be unlocked by defeating a boss. Some skills focus on destroying enemies, moving quickly, and dodging attacks, while others alter the environment. At the end of each level, the hero faces a miniboss. In the finale, you'll have to defeat the main villain, who has attacked the area and scattered mutant armies across the planet. Click download. Enemy attacks can be more than just dodged. Blocking them fills a meter, increasing the player's survivability and power.
