SIGNALIS — a creepy horror game with pixel graphics. The game fits into several genres: action, shooter, quest, and arcade. The camera is dynamic: in some scenes, the character is shown from the side, in others from behind and from the front.

Plot

The game's events are reminiscent of the famous film "Alien." The story follows the protagonist traveling on a spaceship with her partner. For unknown reasons, the ship crashes. She awakens to find herself on an unknown and seemingly uninhabited planet. Her partner is missing. As soon as she leaves the ship, she realizes the predicament she's in. She investigates another flying object she found near her ship. Realizing something fishy is going on, she encounters her first enemies — terrifying alien monsters, hostile to all unfamiliar creatures. The heroine's main objectives are to find a partner, repair the ship, study the traces of civilization she's found, survive, and escape the mysterious planet. You'll have to solve puzzles, crack codes to classified information archives, search for items, craft devices, and, of course, destroy the bloodthirsty monsters you encounter along the way.

The dark atmosphere of hopelessness and fear deserves special attention. You never know where a monster will pop out: it could be waiting for you around every corner, or it could be watching from afar for some unknown reason. Either way, you'll rarely feel safe.
