Hunting Simulator 2

Hunting Simulator 2 – a hunting simulator from the Belgian studio Neopica (now Nacon Studio Ghent), published by Nacon, was released on July 16, 2020. The main innovation compared to the first Hunting Simulator from 2017 is that you can now take a dog with you on hunts, which significantly changes the way you track prey.

Colorado, Texas and Europe

The open world, covering over 15 square kilometers, is divided into three regions: the Colorado Plains, the Texas Desert, and the European Forests. Each region has its own unique set of animals, 33 species in total, all living in their natural habitats. The animals behave realistically, and getting close to them in the open is almost impossible. Therefore, the hunt begins with tracking. Hoof and paw prints lead to the animal, and then you need to get within shooting range without alerting it.

Three breeds of dogs

There are three dog breeds to choose from: Labrador Retriever, German Shorthaired Pointer, and Beagle. Each has its own strengths, and the choice should be tailored to the specific hunt. The dog is sent on the scent of the animal, leading the hunter to locations where it would take much longer to find it on their own. Aiming is still important, as a poor hit will ruin the trophy and reduce its value.

Equipment from real brands

The arsenal is comprised of licensed brands: Browning, Winchester, Bushnell, Kryptek, Verney-Carron, and others. There are 160 items in the game, including rifles, shotguns, optics, accessories, and clothing. Gear is selected before each gameplay session, and the kit will vary for deer in the European forest and game in the Texas desert. Installation:
1. Mount the image with a disc emulator.
2. Install the game following the setup instructions.
