Virtual reality devices and zombie apocalypse themes are perhaps the two main trends in the modern computer gaming industry. The first-person shooter Arizona Sunshine combines both trends. It is being developed by Jaywalkers Interactive and Vertigo Games specifically for the new virtual reality device, SteamVR. It was created jointly by Valve and HTC. The zombie project will be released later this year.

What will Arizona Sunshine tell us?
A story about a hapless man, left alone to face the sweltering Arizona heat and hordes of hungry undead after the apocalypse. By chance, he receives a radio signal from another miraculously saved, still-living man. Naturally, our hero sets out to find him! And needless to say, this search turns out to be far from a simple math problem...

What makes Arizona Sunshine unique is its support for SteamVR.
To be more precise, the game will be released exclusively for this device. What makes SteamVR unique is that, when putting on the headset, the player is completely immersed in the gameplay. In other words, they become the hero — the character will mirror every movement the player makes. The gamer, in turn, can freely move around the room. This way, the developers managed to maximize the immersion.

Zombies will be able to approach within arm's reach, and as long as you're wearing a helmet, no one will be able to tell you they're not there. The project's creators developed a new physics engine specifically for the project, making the undead's attacks incredibly realistic and varied.

Yes, a few years ago it was hard to imagine the computer games industry would reach such a level. Not long ago, we marveled at the cinematic quality of projects. Well, it's time to marvel at their realism...

HoryKoryIf I remember correctly, it's possible. I need a fix for the game. Online Fix has good fixes for pirated online games.

MUCTEP_EKOWell, it's a great game for learning and getting acquainted with VR. Simple, short, but that's enough.

evil616Yes, I completely agree that it's not bad for learning and getting acquainted with VR and is suitable for this, I'm just saying that compared to another game in the same genre and with a similar gameplay, it just feels very weak, as if a lot of mechanics were cut or not implemented for various reasons.
I would even advise beginners to first go play this game (and maybe even the 2nd part right away) and then go to Saints & Sinners to enjoy it to the fullest, since the game there will give you a sense of greater freedom of action, which is quite limited in this game.

MUCTEP_EKOBy the way, it's funny that in Saints I shot myself as soon as I found the revolver. I decided to check because the picture was poorly drawn, and it was impossible to see if there were bullets in it.
