Exit the Gungeon – an arcade action game from Dodge Roll and Singlecore, published by Devolver Digital, released on PC on March 17, 2020. It is a direct sequel to Enter the Gungeon: the events begin immediately after the ending of the first game, only now the heroes are not descending into the Gungeon, but trying to escape from it.
The armory is collapsing
The dungeon, where everything is made of bullets and guns, has begun to collapse in on itself. The Gunsmiths, familiar from the first game, climb up floor after floor, each more dangerous than the last. They are confronted by armed undead and other Gungeon denizens, firing hard and fast. The roll, which is recognizable throughout the series, is once again the main way to survive under such fire. Along the way, you can stop and talk with old acquaintances and a couple of new characters.
A gun that changes itself
The main feature of this part is the weapons. The local sorceress has blessed the hero's gun, and now it transforms into a different weapon, and this process continues with each new floor. You won't be able to pick up a favorite weapon and play through the entire game with it; you have to quickly get used to what you're given. Good play is rewarded: the more you complete the missions, the more powerful the weapon you wield becomes. Rooms, enemies, bosses, weapons, and items are mixed together, making each run noticeably different.
How is it different from Enter the Gungeon?
The first game was a full-fledged roguelike with a top-down view, large floors, and hundreds of guns to choose from. Exit the Gungeon In short and simple, it's more of a side-scrolling arcade game where the climb progresses floor by floor, and weapons are chosen by chance, not the player. It has a Metacritic score of 67. Download torrent Exit the Gungeon On PC you can find it on this page.
