This remake of the beloved series completely revives the legendary horror game Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, which was released back in 1999 for the PlayStation and later for other gaming platforms. The project was produced and developed by the Japanese studio Capcom, which initially acquired the rights to use the brand.

Your character is Jill Valentine, not just a beauty and a smart girl, but a real officer in the elite STARS unit. Jill finds herself in the midst of a zombie apocalypse unfolding in Raccoon City. A strange G-virus has suddenly escaped the control of the mysterious Umbrella lab technicians, rapidly spreading throughout the city and infecting residents. The beautiful officer must keep her eyes peeled, as in addition to the horde of reanimated corpses, representatives of the Umbrella military unit are also hunting her. The latter are masquerading as noble creatures, supposedly tasked with saving civilians from the devastating virus. But is this really true? A strange creature — the mutated monster Nemesis, an upgraded version of a biological weapon (in the second game, it was the bloodthirsty Tyrant) — is hot on the fragile girl's trail. But Jill isn't shy, and she's quite outgoing. She recruits the agile mercenary Carlos, whom you'll also be able to play as as you progress through the story.

Like the remake of the second game, Resident Evel 3 Remake takes place entirely from a third-person perspective. You'll explore various areas of the city, battling grim zombies and completing the main mission objectives. Collect valuable notes and news that will allow you to better understand the apocalypse and learn how to navigate it. You'll also have to solve environmental puzzles.

The project's creators have included a variety of close-combat weapons, as well as high-quality firearms (shotguns, pistols, etc.). As is typical in this genre, ammunition and other resources are scarce, so they must be used sparingly. Sometimes you'll have to run away from an enemy to avoid wasting valuable ammo. A little tip: this tactic is best used when facing Nemesis, who's hot on your heels. The mutant, muttering obnoxiously under his breath, looks like the game's most dangerous boss. He's quite sophisticated and certainly smarter than his predecessor. For example, he can appear out of nowhere at the most inopportune moment and even use a weapon. Nemesis's favorite "play" is a rocket launcher. Are you scared?

The game features a single-player campaign with a gripping storyline, but Resident Evil: Resistance multiplayer has been added for team battles. Four players, as survivors, will struggle to escape the oppressive Umbrella laboratory. Meanwhile, a fifth player will try to prevent their escape by any means necessary.

The game is a high-quality remake, featuring cutting-edge mechanics and stunning graphic design. The developers have used photogrammetry technology liberally, creating a truly immersive, atmospheric, and compelling visual experience for Resident Evil 3 Remake. The environments are meticulously detailed, and every character and enemy is meticulously crafted.

The game's musical composition was also created from scratch.
