West of Dead

A traditional shooter in the best classic style of the genre, with a familiar top-down perspective. The story unfolds in a city with the epic name "Purgatory."

So, it's 1888, and the main character, the deceased Mason, finds himself in a town shrouded in death and sin. Dead marauders, witches, wendigos, and other evil spirits scurry around. Will, like the protagonist of the super comic, has been awakened by the undead. All that remains in his memory is the image of a certain man in black. And so begins the half-dead character's journey through a world filled with corpses and nightmare.

A classic shooter is all about defeating enemies at any cost. Besides shooting, the character has agility, allowing them to dodge shots and attacks. They slide along the ground, roll, and hide behind landscape objects or combat equipment. The game is dynamic, and the waves of corpses are simply endless.

The shooter also contains roguelike elements, adding variety to the gameplay. Locations are randomly generated, making each playthrough unique.

West of Dead has its own comic-style graphic design. The character's appearance is vaguely reminiscent of Marvel's Ghost Rider. The game's settings are also designed in ominous, dark colors.
