Released in 2017, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, which popularized the battle royale genre, inspired many developers. Among them were the creators of the iconic S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series — the guys from GSC Game World, who founded Vostok Games in 2012. Under this name, they began developing online multiplayer projects, the first of which was the shooter Survarium, which entered early access. Recently, Vostok Games announced a new game— Fear of the Wolves... As is already clear, we're talking about a "battle royale," but not a formulaic one, with some new features. Specifically, players will have to fight not only each other but also mutants and other anomalous consequences, as the setting is the familiar world of Chernobyl. To make the events in this world even more spectacular and interesting, the creators have added changing time of day and weather conditions, which will encourage gamers to constantly rethink their strategy. Up to a hundred players can join a single stage — the battle will truly be massive!
