Cattopia is a 2D platformer where success depends on managing momentum and moving with a grappling hook. Play as Catto, navigate challenging routes, discover branching paths, and help your friends, unlocking different endings. Precise movements, proper timing, and a willingness to revisit challenging sections for a better score are essential.

Hook and new routes

Use the grappling hook to latch onto suitable surfaces, swing, and overcome obstacles. In Arcade mode, you can unlock new levels and endings, and in Practice mode, you can improve your times and review your best attempts. A detailed log saves statistics, achievements, and results in several categories, allowing you to track your progress.

In addition to the main challenges, hidden fishing spots throughout the levels allow you to find and catch different types of fish. Additional minigames offer special challenges, and unlockable illustrations and music are available in the art gallery. If you're feeling creative, create your own sets of interconnected levels in the built-in editor and customize Catto's appearance by customizing the colors of his line and lure.
