Exploration of the world is constantly changing thanks to various activities. One episode might require solving a puzzle, another might involve solving a minigame or using rhythmic challenges, while light action elements help to diversify the usual exploration. Mind-reading plays a particularly important role: the characters' inner experiences are transformed into distinct gameplay spaces, revealing more about their personalities and the events happening around Mai.

The animals you encounter can become both friends and foes, and each character has its own personality, secrets, and role in the story.
