Tidy or Treat

Tidy or Treat – a co-op Halloween store cleaning game from independent developer Luriel, released on September 16, 2026. Every year before October 31st, the local spirit dumps all the holiday goods from the shelves onto the floor, and it's up to you to clean up the mess.

Everything is on the shelves

The idea is simple: pick up an item, figure out where it belongs, and place it on the appropriate shelf. The floor gradually clears, and this is clearly visible as you work. Each run is generated anew, so the item layout and the store are slightly different each time. As you clean, you unlock time-saving tricks. One collects all scattered items of the same type, another highlights everything that belongs on the shelf in front of you, and a third sends an armful of items to their place without any extra walking. Trick cards speed up the process, but their effects are not always predictable.

Four modes

In Normal mode, there's no timer, so you can clean at your own pace. Timed mode turns cleaning into a race, where you have to plan a route through the store and beat your best time. In Witching Hour, all tricks are available from the start, and in No Tricks mode, there are no shortcuts, just hands and shelves.

It's faster with friends

The store can be cleared out solo or online with up to four players, split between genders. The game shares only the Halloween theme with the similarly named Death or Treat: there's action in Death or Treat, but no running around with guns here. The game is small and inexpensive, and the developer specifically notes that they didn't use generative AI in its creation. Download torrent Tidy or Treat on PC you can see it below.
