The Magus Circle

The Magus Circle — is a roguelike in the style of survival games, where you fight against endless waves of enemies, casting spells during combat by drawing magical symbols. Magic is under threat from a cosmic war, and you must protect the Circle of Mages — humanity's greatest ally. All it takes is skill and a steady hand: even a carelessly drawn symbol can work and transform into a true spell. Drawing spells

Instead of the usual ability selection before use, the game uses active drawing of magical symbols. A total of 20 unique spells are available, each of which can be significantly modified thanks to 600 possible upgrades. By combining abilities and buffs, you can create completely different development paths and tailor your hero to your own tactics. Battles take place on four unique planets, where you must fend off massive swarms of enemies and battle gigantic opponents. The player has six Circle mages at their disposal, each with their own development tree, abilities, and personal challenges.

Beyond battles, progression continues in the Circle's estate. Here, you can unlock magical companions, brew potions, grow plants in the garden, and do other things between dangerous forays. Exploring the estate itself helps you get to know the other mages better and gradually uncovers the Circle's secrets. Controls support mouse, graphics tablet, touchscreen, and controller, and special settings allow you to slow down or freeze time while drawing, which is especially convenient when playing with a controller.
