Airport Control 27 is a realistic air traffic control simulator in which the player assumes the role of a dispatcher and directs aircraft at major airports around the world. The game features four detailed airports: Jinan Yaoqiang, JFK, Shenzhen Bao'an, and Ronald Reagan. Dispatcher's work

Gameplay revolves around precise adherence to aviation procedures and constant monitoring of the situation on the ground and in the air. The player issues instructions to crews, receives confirmation from pilots, and monitors compliance in real time. Radio communications are based on real air traffic regulations, and pilot pronunciation options are provided for increased authenticity. Airfields utilize departure and arrival procedures, altitude and speed restrictions, runway usage rules, taxiway restrictions, and aircraft wingspan requirements.

Special attention is given to ground movement. The controller can independently select the towing location, create taxi routes and assign them to aircraft, and issue commands to follow the aircraft ahead or the follow vehicle. When routes intersect, it is possible to arrange for one aircraft to pass the other, assign a hold before the runway, authorize formation before takeoff, and specify the clearing point after landing. Towing aircraft can also be directed from various points on the airfield, allowing for flexible management of the entire ground situation.
