Lily's Secrets

The laptop becomes the main source of information about what's happening. It allows players to read blog entries, decipher hidden messages, enter passwords, and communicate with Lily's childhood friends. Scattered materials gradually coalesce into a more coherent picture of her life, her relationships, and the circumstances of her disappearance. However, the investigation isn't entirely secure: unknown forces attempt to hinder the search, and the player's computer itself can be intruded upon. Therefore, even a simple examination of the discovered information can unexpectedly turn into a disturbing ordeal.

Behind the disappearance investigation lies a more personal theme of growing up and online loneliness. The game explores friendship, body image, and the life of a teenager who feels like an outsider. The visuals feature real photographs of the developer and her friends taken during her teenage years, heightening the sense of authenticity. The combination of old internet designs, personal posts, photographs, and strange interventions gradually builds a dark picture that the player must piece together on their own.
