Big Bad Pharma

Big Bad Pharma is a cozy first-person simulator in which the player must maintain order in a huge pharmacy by sorting products into their proper places. Each workday, the store greets players with empty shelves, scattered boxes, and nearly thirteen thousand items that must be returned to their proper departments. The relaxed sorting mechanics gradually reveal a satirical side to the game, poking fun at corporate medicine and its endless sales system.

Thousands of products and one store

Each of the 12,792 items has a strictly defined location: a specific shelf, section, and aisle. Boxes must be picked up, carried around the store, and arranged according to category — from digestive aids and migraine medications to a suspiciously large selection of allergy medications. If the desired section gets lost among the many shelves, a pocket catalog will help you quickly locate the item and continue working without a lengthy search.

Simple sorting eventually becomes a more dynamic process thanks to an upgrade system. Earned money can be used at a special terminal to increase the amount of goods carried, movement speed, jump height, and throwing range. Additional tools further transform the routine: one highlights lost goods in the correct category, another automatically places the item on the correct shelf, a third attracts nearby boxes, and a fourth allows you to collect an entire section of the floor at once.
